Quantum Chromodynamics
by Gerhard Ecker
Publisher: arXiv 2006
Number of pages: 48
Description:
After a brief historical review of the emergence of QCD as the quantum field theory of strong interactions, the basic notions of colour and gauge invariance are introduced leading to the QCD Lagrangian. The second lecture is devoted to perturbative QCD. The final two lectures treat various aspects of QCD beyond perturbation theory.

Handbook of Perturbative QCD
by George Sterman, at al. - CTEQ
The theoretical basis and experimental status of perturbative quantum chromodynamics are presented. Relevant field-theoretic methods are introduced at a nonspecialist level, along with a review of the basic ideas and methods of the parton model.
